November 2012 Infant Massage Classes

After taking the summer off from our infant massage classes, we’ve loaded up November with opportunities for you (summer ends in October around here, right?). We have two Introductory classes happening, as well as one regular series of 3 classes.

If you’re not familiar with infant massage, this is not a new, trendy massage. It’s an ancient art of families giving loving touch to their babies that crosses cultures and spans generations upon generations. It helps with family bonding, calms your baby and calms the caregiver as well (ok here’s a whole list of benefits ). The best time to begin infant massage is in the first few months, and it is definitely easier before your baby is turning over too much and definitely before they are crawling. However, all babies are welcome (it’s just a lot more work for you once they’re mobile!).

Introductory class — Nov 20 at 11am OR Nov 23 at 2pm. $30 per family

Infant Massage Series class — Weds, Nov 14, 21, and 28 at 11am. $65 for the series.

In the series class, we will actually get to complete a full body massage and work a lot more on troubleshooting and tips. The fee covers the cost of instruction, massage oil for each family and handouts that detail the massage strokes. Space is limited in each session, so advance reservations are required. Email Nicole or go through our online calendar to reserve your spot!
